There are a couple of different HTC smartphone designs, with saliva-generating images included, that are being tossed out as, potentially, the first Android-running platform from OHA member HTC.

First up we have the Gizmodo article showing off the oh-so-sexy Omni communicator as a potential introductory platform. I say bring it on - the picture of the Omni is enough to make my upper lip sweat; if I actually owned the thing I might have to file for divorce.

On the other side is the Engadget article. The text here states explicitly that the disign they're discussing is most likely not the one in the associated image (which is good, because I could definitely do without that walkman-external-speaker-looking thing at the bottom), but the description states the device includes "navigational controls at the base" which means that Omni design Gizmodo had is out.

I'm all over that Omni design. That's the kind of pretty that makes me want to put a bag over the iPhone's head.
